I have definite opinions about Trudeau but those belong on another board. I'll just say that his mom could do a better job even going back to her coked out Studio 54 days.

Varlamov has a lot of help here. Trotz is a very good defensive coach and the Islanders have a ton of good defensive forwards-Martin, Clutterbuck, Casey guy with the Greek last name that I have no chance of spelling without Google, Zajak, Bailey, Komorov, Pageau, and a couple of others.
The two things the Islanders have to do in this series are stay out of the penalty box and control the pace of the game. They want a grind game with lots of forechecking and puck possession deep in Tampa Bay's zone. They do not want to get in an up and down back and forth end to end speed game with Tampa Bay. If they do these things Varlamov just has to be good, he doesn't have to be Carey Price.
