Dallas Stars season preview
5-0-1 in the preseason. Keep the momentum going with a very manageable October schedule!

Why are the Blues and Kraken playing at 4;30 on a Tuesday?

I was wondering that too. I guess ESPN is really desperate for a tripleheader.

Tampa opens their season on a road and home back to back with Carolina

I really wonder how this hurricane will impact their ability to host games - both the arena (right on the bay) and overall state of the metro after Milton.

After reading the NHL’s press release on the tripleheader, I think they are staging it this way as a “historic” day. The Panthers are raising a banner, so that has to happen in Prime Time at 6pm central. They need a game before it and after it.

Before, at 1:30 … the Kraken take the ice with a first-ever female bench coach. I’m a Kraken fan and don’t care. She’s actually good, but whatever… hate that it’s at 1:30.

After… Utah plays its first game as a franchise. I’m also a Utah fan (displaced Coyotes fan… don’t care about Arizona) so, I’m excited about this.

The other Kraken story lines are that Dan Bylsma is back as a head coach in the NHL, and Shane Wright is out of development hell and in the lineup after listening to people wrongly label him as a bust for three years. He’s going to make people eat crow, bigtime.

I agree with a lot of your predictions. Notably, I think Utah will make the playoffs.

I follow the Pacific division more closely than any other. I think the Flames are a little better than most people think but will still miss the playoffs. I also think the Kings may take a step back this year and possibly not make it in.

could some one tell the Blues team, that it was a 1:30 pacific time zone game time?

I think they are still in the hotel, resting for a night game. this is pitiful.
