If yall were wondering, this much improved offensive line and offense we heard NBC praise all game actually scored more points in the Super Bowl last year
I thought the line was better.. That left tackle from LSU looked much better. They put Maye in a lot of bad situations because the play calling was way too conservative.

The line only appeared better because they refused to attempt to throw the ball downfield because they were terrified of their line. They dumped everything off at the LOS quickly. When they did try and push the ball downfield Maye was pressured or threw a pick
The offense looked truly horrific tonight with absolutely no flow or anything

To be fair, they also lost week 1 last year at home to the Raiders and looked god awful then too. May be a pattern.

I could have used that snoozefest to get to sleep earlier

Maye was forcing it all game and throwing into very tight coverage.
Sort of inexplicable. He had 8 INTs last season and 3 in one quarter last night.
