I believe that the root of the issue is that OBJ has been convinced, by himself or others, that he's being headhunted by other players/teams. With that mindset, he takes any action (the bat, end your career) as a real threat and responds in kind. Does that excuse his actions yesterday? Absolutely not. However, I think it may go a long way to explaining them. He needs to reassess things and play football, IMO.

That was only specific play talked about in their PR statement. Everything else was mumbo jumbo. No helmet hit no suspension
