Called them and mentioned the free promotion for new customers. I really only wanted the RedZone channel so they gave it to me for free

I don't have DTV so the ticket isn't available but the NFL Redzone is awesome. It is like Cliffs Notes on a NFL Sunday.

Threatened to cancel my service and DirecTV gave me $20 off my bill every month for the next year ($240 value) and NFL Sunday Ticket for $99.

Pretty sure Direct TV has it exclusively thru 2016 or so. You can get NFL Redzone through AT&T, Comcast, etc. though.

I got it for free bitches. Haggled with DirecTV because they are giving it free to new customers and I threatened to leave if I didn't get it too

Nope.
I just threatened to switch to comcast (would never happen) and claimed that I was extremely unhappy with surprise charges on my bill (truth). I asked to speak to the manager and talked for about 30 minutes and she gave me free NFL Sunday Ticket. No new contract, I still have a year left though.

i called and bitched and they gave it to me for 20 a month with no installation and i only have the choice xtra package with HD and DVR
