All of this being said, the Pouncy brothers are insane and if I was Myles Garrett, I'd be worried about far more violent reprisal.

Where was Villaneuva in all of this? Wasn't he the guy that got beat by Garrett on the play?

There we go again

If when they stood up, Garret and him just push and shove a little more, then walk their separate ways, nobody is suspended

What Rudolph did does not deserve a suspension. You dont suspend him because of the fact another player acted like a psycho

The NFLPA is not going to appeal Pouncey's suspension. They know he was suspended for the kicking of a guy being restrained. He even said he will take whatever punishment they give him.

You can see many altercations in the nfl that involve what Rudolph did. They dont result in suspensions, nor even a real big storyline.

but as an instigator, your punishments also should reflect the levels that the event rose to from your instigating.

Standing for the fricking Anthem is where he was

Nobody was really beat on the play. Garret decided to tackle the QB after the play was well over

Only in a world run by dummies

You should always luck to punish the action, not the pending results of others. There is no consistency if not

Tough to say someone got beat when Myles hit well after the window he had available.

3 games for Pouncy is BS

It’s fair IMO. He really goes after Garrett. I get it, and the team should be on his side about it, but it’s fair.

Should have been 2 games.

oh ok.

you scream bomb in a crowded movie and no one gets hurt.

you scream bomb in a crowded movie and a baby dies from the stampede and impeding brawl.

you have two different sentences.

Oh cmon, he instigated and helped escalate the situation. I'm not super concerned that he didn't get suspended, but absolving him from all guilt for the fight is asinine. Obviously he didn't deserve to get beat with his own helmet, but to say he literally did nothing wrong is going too far in the other direction

He didn’t do anything outside of your typical in game skirmish that gets resolved and everyone goes their separate ways though.

And you get charged with the same crime in both scenarios and the added one in the second.

Which really is illogical, correct?

I have a better scenario

1. A student tells another to frick off. The other student simply tells the teacher

2. A student tells another to frick off. He then gets the shite kicked out of him and causes a big brawl betweeen others after he gets the shite kicked out of him

You are saying you would punish student 2 harder

your missing the NFL's angle. The NFL's angle is optics to the league. Mason Rudolph was an equal instigator in an event that brought HORRIBLE PR optics to the league which costs them money.

The opposed scenario should be, mason tried to rip myles' helmet off and myles handled it well, shoved each other and everyone walks away. yes, mason wouldn't have been punished in this scenario.

But what mason did led to such an extreme outcome that directly help bring such bad optics to league.

Yes because you have a murder charge added. But you still are going to be charged with causing a riot, disturbance of the peace and many other crimes.

Actually, you are. The nfc agrees with me, hence why Rudolph didn’t get suspended
