Because of the lack of television commercial spots in soccer, coupled with a lesser amount of revenue sharing amongst teams in the same league (compared to MLB, NBA, NFL), soccer clubs gain millions of dollars in revenue from selling the title ad sponsor on their kits. Most clubs stick with one corporate shirt sponsor, but Mexican clubs just paint their kits with Chico's Bail Bonds ads. Also several clubs are a little more hesitant to selling the naming rights to their hundred year old stadiums.

The Saints have plenty of corporate sponsors, though... Verizon, COX, Ochsner, and Allstate are some of the bigger names among themn.
