Holy Moly- just noticed these turkeys now have not 1 but 2 Wednesday games this year.
What are they doing.
What are they doing.

They’ve been devaluing Sunday for years. I hate how the last 3-4 weeks of the season you see the Sunday slate of games shrink so much with all the thursday, black friday, Saturday and holiday games.

Sports is the top rated viewership these days. Used to be network TV shows.
And NFL is greedy and trying to stretch is as much as they can.
Over saturating anything eventually will lead to decreases. Will take a long time but it happens.
Baseball used to be biggest sport. Boxing was biggest sport for a spell. Now its football.
There is always a breaking point. Nascar used to draw over 10 million per race, now they fight to get 2m. Greedy owners eventually mess things up and once the tide turns its a slow decline.
NFL will eventually ruin it by over-saturation. It might take 20-30 years but eventually its too much exposure. They can lose 20% of viewers and still be top sport. But once you go in decline it can be hard to stop before leveling out at a much lower number. Then the future TV contracts come in lower and its a ripple effect. Salary goes down and people talk about it less.
We’re not there yet. But it may be peaking.

Agree. Used to be that fans looked forward to weekend and the buzz during the week was a great buildup. But with games at all times now its much less buzz. I think this will eventually backfire
