When the "expert" said it would be overturned and rule it a fumble, I said there would be no way they overturn the call. The call can not be overturned it in that situation unless it's 100% clear.

from what I saw, his arm was moving forward before the ball came loose. so no fumble.

The fact that this thread is split pretty evenly proves they shouldn't have overturned the call on the field

Right. I do think it was a fumble but it's hard to say with certainty that it is inconclusive. I also side with the refs on this one and let's not end a game of this importance with a questionable call.

The biggest issue I have with replay is thet they try to classify and define subjective criteria instead of looking at it objectively.
All Austin talked about last night was the "elbow hinge." Can't you just look at it and use common sense instead of determining whether the elbow "hinged?"
Tuck rules. Elbow hinges. Football Moves. The replay system has more jargon and bureaucracy than the Federal government. It's another reason to dislike the NFL even though I can't 100 percent quit it. Last night's game still sucked me in.
