Why don't people ever factor in playoffs stats or results?

Terrell Davis looks even better in this regard. His two dominant seasons both resulted in Super Bowl victories and he averaged 150 yards rushing and 2 TDs for those playoff runs.

Now compare that against the 6 year stretch from 2002 to 2007 for LT.

LT had one of the greatest primes of any RB in NFL history

Eric Dickerson '83 & '84. 1984 is still the record yards/season (2,105) and 1983 is 18th best (1,821).

If you count 2 years with one year apart

OJ 1973 and 1975.

2003 yards, 12 Tds, 6.0 YPC, averaged (averaged) 143 yards per game.

1817 yards, 16 Tds, 5.5 YPC, averaged 130 yards per game.

Never carried it over 350 times during those two years.

Emmitt Smith carried it over 350 times during his two best years.

So did Terrell Davis. He carried almost 400 times in his 2,008 yard season.

OJ carried it 332 times in his 2,003 yard season.

All in a 14 game season.

What Earl Campbell did in his first three years is pretty amazing. The Oilers we're garbage and the 1st two years they made it to the AFC championship game.

I’d have to go with Priest Holmes 2003-2004. He was an unstoppable TD machine. He could do it all. Dude ran so violent for being 5’9”. Priest 51 TDs in 2 years, 4300 yds from scrimmage. And he misses 2 games. Eric Dickerson first 2 years were pretty unreal.

Priest Holmes had an O line with two HOF'rs and I believe another 1-2 were pro bowlers....not to diminish Holmes production but I sometimes wonder what Jamal Charles would have accomplished if that O line was in it's peak with a young Charles running behind it.

CMac is at 4,300 YFS the last two years with 31 tds and another game to go. He’s averaging 6 yards per touch which is the most by a starting running back in NFL history and he’s doing it with dookie quarterback play.

I remember OJ when he was America's beloved All American success story, Hertz rental car celebrity spokesperson, ABC sports commentator, dude was on TV more than anyone from the 70's through the late 80's........and then, well we all know the story. Excluding all the tragedy that befell OJ in his later life his NFL football career is probably top 50 of all players of all time.
