There is no epidemic of police violence against blacks. Go look at the actual data/crime stats instead of regurgitating the media's clickbait-driven horse shite.

Dude you’re making my point bc that was Kaep’s original intent at the beginning and everyone knows that and it created the firestorm. You gotta understand that at this point all kneeling accomplishes is kneeling at the end of the day DOESN’T DO ANYTHING to ameliorate the perceived effects of police violence, only way people ACTUALLY accomplish that is by engaging with their local police departments or improving their depressed communities or both bc it’s PRACTICAL. This whole protest crap has gotten so redundant it’s really a waste of time and costing the NFL business.

Guaranteeing 45 re-election certainly isn’t a bad thing #MAGA

This is the main thing that pisses me off about kneeling. It's not so much that they are disrespecting the anthem, it's their protest is a total lie. The idiot that started this supports a communist dictator and they followed him like idiots because of some false racism claims.
Do I believe their are occasions of police brutality? Yes! But I don't believe blacks are the only ones receiving it and I don't believe it's an epidemic. This country elected a black president for Christ sakes. If blacks were being treated like they were in the 60s then I would support the protest but contrary to popular belief, blacks can be who ever and what ever they want to be now days, the only ones that are holding them back are themselves.
At our home high school football games I watch the crowds to just see if anyone sits during the anthem, not one single person sits or has a hat on their head. We played Richwood last week, they are 100% black, I saw 3 people sitting down in the stands out of a 200+ fans.

They were drawing attention to a plight by protesting police violence. Smh
They were drawing attention to something that only exists in their minds. Facts don't care about your feelings.
-Black people are 12% of the population yet commit over half of the murders in our country
-More unarmed white people have been killed by police this year than black people
-More unarmed white people were killed by police than black people in 2016
-You are more likely to die from a bee, wasp, or hornet sting than you are by a cop if you are unarmed
-You are 5x more likely to get hit by a train and die than you are to be killed by a police officer if you are unarmed
-You are twice as likely to get struck by lightning than killed by a police officer if you are unarmed
-If all black people murdered by cops this year never happened, over 99% of black murders would still occur
NO ONE PROTECTS MORE BLACK LIVES THAN POLICE OFFICERS. FBI crime stats

In ways, the system is slanted to favoring minorities with all these federal discrimination laws and affirmative action plus many are very uppity and bring discrimination lawsuits or just sue willy nilly. Almost appears the majority is being discriminated against in this respect, I don’t wanna hear anymore of these damn complaints we live in the best country on the planet with rights other peoples can’t even fathom so the uppities can STFU.

Sic boy.........evidently you never experienced your buddies flying home in a flag draped coffin.....think twice before you say this

Holy hell, my statement had absolutely nothing to do with the 1st amendment. I never said their 1st amendment right was being violated, I never said the NFL was attacking the 1st ammendment. My point was that my personal preference in situations like that would be a dialogue, I don't agree with what you're doing, but let's talk it out, discusses why we feel this isn't how we want our team and the league represented, and let's discuss a solution and/or alternative. Making something mandatory, really does nothing but alienate.
Google "strawman". I think the two of you will be good friends.
The greatest emulation of Max Kellerman I've ever read, Ruth Bader Ginsburg teach you to speak and argue like that?

Sorry, players have the NFL by its balls here, pardon the pun. No one worth anything to the league will get cut for a peaceful protest. You can't fool us by blackballing Kap who was on his way out anyway

Nobody is blackballing Kap. Hell, had his GF not been a moron, he'd probably be a Raven right now.

And in the concession area when the anthem started most did not bother to even stop or acknowledge the anthem while being played, but if they were in the stadium they would be standing still with their hands over their heart
Flag etiquette asks that those "present" to stand at attention during the anthem. I wouldn't think being on the concourse, in the can, or in the parking lot walking in would be included.
My rule of thumb is if I'm away from my seat, but can see the flag, I will stand, otherwise I just do whatever the crowd around me does.

You sure? Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck played professional football in the state he represented in Congress and as Governor and led the Colts to tremendous success and a Super Bowl victory under Peyton, it's likely easy to infer he was and remains a football fan. Hell, the Super Bowl was hosted in his state's capital city.
