Homerism aside, who do you think wins?

IF I had to guess it will be Peyton Manning, even though he started out pretty shitty.

Turner probably deserves it.

Both Manning and Williams had mediocre starts to the season.

Turner has been great all season (started and finished the season with 200+ yard games), and was probably the biggest catalyst in turning around Atlanta from a doormat to a playoff team.

I think it will be a RB from the NFC South. Or at least it should be.

it takes a whole lot for a RB to win MVP. think 1800+yds or well over 20td's.

1500yds and sub 20TD's wont do it.

LT and Shaun Alexander had 30+(rushing and rec)
Jamal Lewis had 2000+yds
Marshall Faulk was a monster rushing and receiving.
Terrell Davis and Barry Sanders 2000+

No they dont. Manning had to overcome a preseason knee surgery, a shitty line and a horrible showing from his receivers. He almost single handedly took a 3-4 team to a 12-4 playoff team. He showed heart, leadership and ofcourse as always, he threw for another 4000 yards this season.

going by the numbers, this is Peytons worst yr since 2003, but hes deserving of the MVP considering all he did in the clutch for the Colts to be 12-4.

1. Steve Smith - Panthers
2. Peyton Manning - Colts

Why do team records factor in to individual awards? Brees definitely wins my fantasy MVP award at least. LT almost killed my team, but Brees kept me well in to the playoffs.

b/c brees threw a bunch of timely INT's that cost the Saints some games.

Peyton threw 17td/3int in their 9 game win streak to get them into the playoffs.
