Kind of a silly little game you’re playing. A push to the facemask and a haymaker to the side of the head? Come on man

They generally don't suspend you for a helmet punch. Just the ejection and a fine.

Weird thing is Reddit told me that punch was because of the Trump dance. Now we find out it was retaliation for earlier.

I’m sure Payne being a former Bama player has nothing to do with it.

What’s the difference?

Oddly something that would apply to spoon carriers assaulting hammer carriers.

God Mahomes is so fricking gay. Dude didn’t want your 5 just because you’re the leagues protected class, queer—take it and move on.

Also applies to Bama fans defending a former player for throwing a punch because “the other guy totally hit him first”.

You guys are a sad bunch.

Im not defending either one's actions, hell, St Brown is my wr1 in fantasy, but to say St Brown hitting Payne in the head is somehow different than Payne doing the same exact thing seems delusional.

Maybe watch the video again, the slow motion replay-St. Brown gives him a shove in the head, and then he gives an actual punch. The first contact wasn't that egregious, I'll give you that, but the second was without question, 100%, a punch to the head. Its all right there on video.

Two players talking shite that results in a scuffle happens at least once a game and calling what Brown did a “punch” is a major stretch.

Then several plays later, after a touchdown AND the celebration, when everyone is walking off the field to their sidelines Payne walks up to Brown and punches him while Brown isn’t interacting or even looking at him.

The only delusion is anyone who thinks these are remotely the same. Payne comes across as a petty bitch.

This thread has made it very clear who has St. Brown on their fantasy team

Imagine him getting suspended for your playoffs

I don’t think he’s saying the actions are the ‘same’, I think what the other guy is implying is that if they were both to be punished, the punishment should be the same… in other words, what Payne did was way more of a bitch move, but he’s not gonna get an extra game or two or higher fine because of it

Except they’re literally saying the actions are the same.

ETA: Had Payne reacted right away they both get fined and no one cares. Reacting 10+ minutes later when everyone else was past it was stupid, and why he got the suspension.
