Three with the most cap room:

1) Jacksonville: $64,486,130
2) Oakland: $53,997,667
3) NYJ: $48,948,021

Three with the least cap room:

1) New Orleans: ($27,966,581)
2) New England: ($15,828,463)
3) Kansas City: ($12,014,829)
[only other team with negative is Dallas at ($2,197,246) ]

The Patriots have some wiggling to do, but there is no way we pay Revis 25 mil next year so that's a start.

I'm sure he is, but it is definitely not a great position to be in. Very little room for errors in personnel decisions across the board with those finances.

We're in better shape than last year when we signed Byrd, but we absolutely have to draft better than the last few years.

We have a lot of roster bonuses that will be simply converted into signing bonuses

Loomis took chances on several big contracts which had to be reworked later on by design. unfortunately neither Byrd or Galette is proving worth it so far (although Byrd has an excuse), but if neither is able to perform at the level their contract suggests its a real problem because they're that much harder to cut later on.
