Veteran Browns wide receiver Marquise Goodwin has blood clots in his legs and lungs, the team announced Friday.

Goodwin, 32, was placed on the non-football illness list last Friday after feeling discomfort in his legs and shortness of breath during team workouts this spring.

Probably the long lasting effects of Covid. I bet he wasn’t vaccinated. This is the cost of selfishness.

NFL and blood clots are far more common than the general pop

Patriots has a player almost die in 2019. Was some scary shite. Goodwin lucky they caught it before it got too bad. Serena almost died in like 2017 from this as well. I’m guessing athletes are taking shite they shouldn’t be which is why they are more prone

David Andrews is among multiple NFL offensive linemen who have had blood clot issues the last few years.

Antonio Garcia, a third-round pick of the Patriots in 2017, was sidelined his entire rookie season because of blood clots in his lungs. Garcia was placed on blood thinners and lost a significant amount of weight. He was released the following spring, and never played a game with New England, having made stops with the Jets and Colts. (He was recently suspended for the first four games of the 2019 season for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substance policy.)

Chargers left tackle Russell Okung suffered a Pulmonary embolism because of blood clots in June. Okung, who realized the issue when he suffered from chest pains at practice, had hoped to play in 2019 — however, his status for the season remains uncertain.

Bengals left guard Clint Boling — like Andrews, a Georgia product known for his durability — retired because of a blood clot this offseason after eight seasons in the league. Boling was a rock for the Cincinnati offensive line, playing every snap last season. In all, he started all 16 regular-season games for the Bengals in five of the last seven years
From 2019 article. I bonded the clear elephant in the room why nfl players and blood clots aren’t as uncommon as they should be

So you think Goodwin is suffering from blood clots due to PEDs?

Possibly. I am saying there is a reason the nfl has a higher rate of blood clots than the general pop for males in that age range. What do you think it is? Only 1,600 players with an average age of 25 and 5 had blood clots between 2018-2019 alone. Is it PEDs? The overuse of their body?

And I love how posting an article with multiple players having blood clots in 2018 and 2019 makes people angry. I love this site

What is strange is there have been less blood clots over the last two seasons. Only 2 versus 5 from before

So maybe Covid or the vaccine is helping prevent nfl blood clots?

It’s because you’re absolutely reaching. Weren’t most of those guys overweight lineman? Have you seen what Russell Okung looks like now?

You’re trying to come up with some proof that it’s some normal issue instead of saying that it’s possible it’s because of an experimental vaccine

If it was from the vaccine, why would the rate of nfl players getting blood clots get lower since the vaccines introduction? Shouldn’t we now be seeing more clots from the lineman?

You are the one “reaching for proof”, not I
