Interesting scenario setting up.

Two best teams (and offenses) in NO and LA with losses to the two best defenses in Dallas and Chicago. Both of those defenses were at home, and both games were pretty similar.

Current higher seeds winning WC round would mean Dallas travels to New Orleans and Chicago travels to LA in divisional round for rematches.

Both on the road.

No one is beating NO at home.

Rams only prayer is if the Saints drop one on the road to end the season.

I would hope so, but both defenses are legit.

Saints defense has been insanely nasty since Apple is playing competent CB2.

Rams can’t afford to lose many players. Offense hasn’t looked the same since Kupp injury.

Saints will be incredibly hard to beat at home. Also, the saints defense the last month has been the best in the league.

I think the rams are fading some. They did not play well last week.

I see the Saints looking like garbage the past two weeks hasn't slowed down the backwoods homer train

Hopefully Dallas can finish ahead of Chicago. Much rather play @ LA in 2nd round if we win WC

Huh? Defense has looked elite and the offense scored 25 unanswered to win by 14 on the road.

I mean the Bucs did, and the Browns probably should have. The saints are obviously a fantastic football team, but defense typically travels. The NFC playoffs are going to be a meat grinder. The Bears are just punking an elite offense right now

The similarities are interesting between NO and LA. Played shitty but won the week before, got smothered the next week, slow start for LA next week before putting it on in the 2nd half?

Yea. But until the 3rd quarter today, people were saying the same about the Saints.

If today proved anything, it’s that people shouldn’t overreact. It’s tough as hell to win in the NFL, and exponentially harder to win on the road.

I think the Saints and Rams were just dialed in for so long, they got a little breathing room on the rest of the NFC and maybe lost focus. And that came at a bad time because they both played elite defenses.

Agreed on the Saints defense. They’ve played well most of the year.

Probably not a coincidence
