Threatening someone with a weapon is a crime, whether you actually hit them with it or not.
Then directly after you get the career ending threat by the guy with a bat, Norman is playing dirty with body slams and punches...you think he doesn't have that threat in the back of his mind...that they are trying to take him out the game...permanently.
If some crazy a-hole walks up to you in a mall with a gun, you think you are safe because you are in public? No one has ever commuted a crime in public, right?

You didn't say anything about a crack back block. You asked about people getting hit in the head while standing around a pile. I showed you that it happened on the same day as Odell yet nobody is begging for a suspension for the Steelers lineman.

You can fight left and right until your purple and gold heart gives out. Whether you like it or not, OBJ tarnished his reputation on Sunday. He is going to be suspended and hopefully he learns from this and grows from it. You arguing that he feared for his life is not going to change anything, nor will it get the suspension overturned it that is all OBJ is banking on.

Bringing a bat on the field is one thing. Walking directly up to a player and threatening to end his career by beating him with the bat is another thing.
OBJ should be disciplined for acting like an a-hole and losing his cool. We agree on that. Where we differ is the fricking scrub thug that threatened him with a bat should be mopping floors somewhere for the rest of his life, and Norman should be fined for his behavior as well.
