What I always find amazing about those ridiculous stat-lines that players get is that Michael Jordan is always on the list. That man had such an incredible career.

Undisputed GOAT imo. And I was never a fan of Jordan. I prob disliked him more than any player ever. Back in my younger days I used to really dislike the opposition.

I was listening to David Locke podcast (he’s real sharp btw) and on the one I listen to earlier today he said that his metrics have harden as the third best offensive player of all time. I’m gonna msg him and see if I can’t track down some more info from him on that.

He wanted to be on the Rockets. Everyone was making fun of the Rockets because they had Ryno and OKC "fleeced" NYK and IND for PG and Melo. Now who's laughing? OKC got GREAT deals, yet here they are.

OKC wont ever win anything westbrook, nobody will win with westbrick, he is just a black hole in crunch time and just doesn't understand probabilities. KD was 7 ft tall and a 50/40/90 shooter yet westbrook who was a mediocre shooter from the field and 3 point land wanted to take all the shots in crunch time. The guy is just a bonehead nothing more. I've said this on here for years, add Melo and PG wasn't gonna change westbricks mentality.

that was due to KD hiding than Westbrook hogging

when KD hid and didn't try to get open for 16-18 seconds, there is only 6-8 seconds left to do something

That idiot Nick Wright on Fox made an interesting point this morning. 33 guys in the league take 15 or more shots per game. OKC's "big three" come in at like 30, 32, and 33 in shooting percentage on that list.

Russ was the 2nd best crunch time player in the league last year. And the Thunder lead the league in come from behind wins.

However shite ain’t working this year and the window is closing in a hurry. Solid chance it won’t work. 26 games in to still be trying to figure shite out is a bad sign.

All Time. You clearly haven’t been watching. No one in the nba today possesses the combined efficient scoring and playmaking ability of James.

First player to average 35/9 for a month since Oscar

First player to shoot 75% in a 50 point game in thirty years.

First player to put up 26/17/6 since Jordan/stockton in the 80s.

Only player to create 90 pts in a game via points and assists beside wilt. Oh and James did it 2x.

Lol. Literally every week he’s putting up numbers that haven’t been put up in 3 or 4 decades.

There was an argument made by a pretty well known sports writer that his season last year was the greatest season of all time offensively. And this year he is pretty clearly quite a bit better.

Funny, I never mentioned that. But since that's on your mind when you see a random picture of Manu laughing, I'll oblige you :

People are very curious to see what this Houston team will be able to do in the dance.

Sports history is littered with regular season juggernauts. D’Antoni himself is very familiar with such things.

They're salty and will be an incredibly tough out. More than willing to give them their due. Curious how we'll match up with them.

Probably won't get a good read on it until the spring. Kawhi and Parker are both still going to be on minutes restrictions this Friday if I had to guess.
