He should go to Vandy. Triple option would tear up the SEC East.

I'd just like to see Troy keep it up if the SBC ever revokes their APR exempt status.

will Frank Solich ever coach at a BCS AQ program again?
Good question. I always thought he got a raw deal from Nebraska. Following Tom Osborne would have been hard for anyone, especially with the limits on partial qualifiers in the BigXII. So I was surprised he got stuck at Ohio.
Makes you wonder if there are personality issues or something that made him bad interviewer, or if Osborne burned him in coaching circles for dropping the ball with his legacy.
Osborne was able to keep his job after multiple 9-3 and 9-2 seasons, so somethings a little odd about that.

this seems like a likely explanation, but Solich coached under Tom for like 20 years. and he had a damn good record while the HC at Nebraska.

Solich's 58 wins during his first six seasons as Nebraska's head coach exceeded those of his predecessors, Bob Devaney (53 wins) and Osborne (55 wins), both of whom are in the College Football Hall of Fame.
maybe he's stuck at Ohio because of his age. seems most big programs are going after young up-and-comers nowadays.
he seems like he's still a good coach and has Ohio in a bowl every year.

3rd and 8 and the play call is to throw to a WR at the line of scrimmage.

Am I an idiot for giving Ohio 11 points?

Looks like we're not exactly in for a tough defensive battle.

Are there any HS playoff games in LA tonight? Because if so, I bet they had better attendance than this game.

I can't believe I didn't get Troy in this game.
And yes attendance is pretty bad. These are just not big time teams nor big time bowls.
