He should be willing to crawl on glass to get to Kentucky or USF. He's not making a big jump to a power from ULL. He'll have to go somewhere in between.

I'm really glad that Louisiana is investing in their football program. They could be a really good program.

It would be awesome to see a Louisiana vs. Louisiana State matchup soon, perhaps on a neutral field.

Miss St would hire him 5 minutes after Mullen cleaned out his office.

I bet Arkansas interviews him after this year.

I think we lose him after this year. I could see Auburn or Arkansas hiring him. And if Mississippi State needs a head coach, he's as good as gone.

What people don't realize is that schools like ULL and LA Tech and ULM don't even remotely cover their costs. Approximately half of their reported revenue is "direct institutional support", or basically, taxpayer support. Plus the prices they charge for attendance are closer to high school football games than Div. 1 football. 30K ULL fans do not have the economic impact of 30K LSU fans on the respective communities' economies.

You think too highly of your school's job based on that list. Every job listed is far and away a better option with more money, more support, and a better opportunity to win. Not sure the last game makes people want to hire him though. I know it's just one game but man, it was bad.

The ULL fans are claiming this "new" stadium is all private funding.
These football programs should be self sustaining. I see no reason tax payer dollars should be spent on Sun Belt football. How much did ULL get paid for that bloodbath last weekend?
