New era logo on MLB hats

We've seen them make an appearance for these two Wild Card games and it looks like this is going to be permanent throughout the league. Not a good look IMO LINK

I've been shopping for a new Dodgers hat and passed on a lot of them since every brand has a big, ugly logo on the side.

They just weren't there at all.
If you buy a hat, like a throwback hat, the New Era logo is always on the side.
Only time I buy Ranger hats is if they make the World Series. Have a red one from 2010 and a blue one from 2011. Wouldn't mine getting a new one.

MLB uses majestic because they have a longing standing rule that all uniforms must be made in the US.

That may be true, but I despise the shitty looking changes they made to the uniforms this year. Fortunately, I bought one last year before the ugly looking modifications. The new ones look so bad I refuse to buy one.

I collect Minor League on field hats, most of which have had the New Era logo for a while. For whatever reason it doesn't bother me that much on the big league caps.

Like I said earlier, all of the throwback NE hats have the logo on the side. This one is actually one of my favorites in my possession.

If you paid the amount of money New Era pays to be the official hat of MLB you'd want your logo on the hat as well.
