You try removing mask all the time it sucks. Especially without power drivers
Best thing to ever clean a hat with is Future floor wax. Cleans and shines at one time.

Can't beat these;
look closely for you younger guys, they used to paint the helmets w/ the mask on. I never understood this and it was terrible, but that was Husky Football under Don James at their best.
