Same team has lost 84-4 and 62-6 to other schools. They obviously really suck. But the winning team had to be busting their arse to score 104 with a running clock.

The score by quarters was:
43-18-24-19.
43-18-24-19.

Why... just take a shot clock violation every time you have the ball.

At some point, you should be allowed to officially call a game of both coaches agree. This isn’t a playoff game or anything.

This. Even losers have pride. You respect your opponent.

Some of you all take this shite too seriously. Like a bunch of old women at a knitting meetup gossiping about oh did you know them girls lost 104-1.
I can guarantee the losing team will get more out of this than message board posters. For one they have a bad team. Yet they aren’t quitting. They will bond and laugh about it. Two, these type losses motivate people after HS. They want to win and can use losing so badly as a motivator in life. These gals will laugh at future reunions yet see the resolve of sticking it out and playing through.
Life teaches tough lessons but those are lessons best learned.
Some of you want to stop the game and hand out trophies to everyone on the losing team. This type empathy is bad for society.
Also, you never throttle someone from trying their hardest. I don’t care what the score is.

Or hell, just let the other team score. Don't play defense, just let them have open layups.

Put those same high school girls outside in a pickup game and the losers would keep playing even though losing over and over again.
Yeah. Sure. Ok.
