I don't understand why the rockets gave up isaiah canaan for KJ McDaniels. Aren't they somewhat weak at PG (Beverley) and totally stacked with swingmen (Harden/Brewer)?

Don't look now, but the boys in silver and black have gotten their NASTY back!

I've mentioned before that Morey (and Hinkie) always loved Canaan. McHale never did. I don't know what the reasoning was. Maybe he didn't consider him coachable? Didn't like his defense? There was definitely something.

The ball was about to be in westbrook's hands with no one around him at the 26 second mark up 2, and Brooks called timeout to advance the ball. No idea what he was thinking there.

I never understood why Canaan didn't play more. I always liked him dating back to Murray State when they played VCU down to the wire in the tourney

Guessing he's playing a lot better since it is the 76ers and they blow so he just goes out and can ball without any pressure

It's a yearly NBA tradition to prematurely throw dirt on the Spurs

Happens just about every year. Hell, even last year it wasn't until around this time that people started taking notice when they smoked the Heat.

They've won three in a row pretty convincingly and the team is healing up... bud.

Not so sure I buy into this, there's no chance he wouldn't have played more if Morey really liked him that much.

I have never given up on the Spurs, but I still like that matchup for the Rockets in the playoffs. After the tight Portland series, it made me so mad to see Portland get swept. No way on earth could the Spurs sweep the Rockets.

Probably not, and this year the Rockets have even better perimeter D without Parsons and Lin slowing them down.
