Boom likes to often revisit last year's MVP voting. I think we should revisit it re Kawhi. This Spurs team is honestly so bad without him. It's putrid.

Fun fact, he accounted for 13.6 WS last year and they went to win 61 games.
He's played 9 games this year and has contributed 0.9 WS, Spurs are on pace to win 47.35 wins right now. Give him the additional 12.7 and they're roughly at 60.1 wins. Pretty damn significant.

They were barely better with him on the court than off last year, barely. you can’t compare it to this years team especially one with already old players who are one year older this year. Spurs are done. With Leonard this year 3 seed. Without 5 seed. Losers in rd 2 is the best they can do with or without him.

Search the on/off splits and they were one point and some change better with him on the court than off sorry bubba the facts don’t lie.

Yeah shut the frick up, Boom. Too late in the day for your bullshite, son

In case you didn’t remember they were much better defensively last season when he was on the bench. Again check the on off. Instead of some made up WS projection that no one who knows even a little ab win share wound ever make.

Boom logic: argues on/off isn't the end all when talking about other players and MVPs
Boom on Kawhi: go look at his on/off! they are the same without him.
Spurs on pace to only win 47 games after winning 61 the year before.

With Leonard off the court last year his teammates were +6.9
This year they are merely +3.1
His teammates were much better last year. Not just a little. We are talking 10 wins better at least.
That should end this. Good night bro.

Toby needed that win. I see our resident fool is doing his thing, good luck with that.

I'll take any W by hook or crook at this point
I just treat him like I treat my son. Sit back and watch while he cuts his capers, smile wanly when he begs for attention, smack his butt when he steps out of line.
The usual

If we are looking at how bad the team is without him then we look at his off splits and see the glaring difference in the play of his teammates. And it kinda blows up the argument of trying to say the team is just so so Bc he is hurt. No. The numbers clearly show that the team is bad because his teammates are a lot worse this year than last. Clear as day.

It was interesting to see Pistol run from the baseline couple times early. I’m not sure I trust Anderson completely but trust Green with it.

We gonna go off purely numbers and ignore the results that come with it??
He makes them better, fact.
He's a net positive when he plays, fact.
Spurs with Kawhi Leonard being the man:
67 wins
61 wins
Spurs without Kawhi Leonard:
47 wins (on pace)

Playmakers make their teammates better. He is not a play maker. Oh and his team was better defensively when he was on the bench.
Idk if you know about Pythagorean expected wins but I can tell you his teammtes played like a 59 win team last year and merely a 49 win team this year. but yea let’s be intellectually dishonest when the numbers are right there In front of you and claim that his sqaud being worse this year is all him and not bc of the decline of his teammates.

Spurs fixing to eat. They comin
Hottest team in the NBA and looking like a lock for a top 4 seed. Good time to be peaking
I really think they can knock off GS or Houston
