It’s an upgrade compared to what they had before, but this game doesn’t tell us much. NBA fans are very reactionary

I have a feeling Lebron will be more motivated for this one.

Kyrie going for 50 won't mean much against a completely new team. Plus Cle can play it off as "oh well we don't even know each other's names." But Lebron steals this one and a message will be sent.

Simmons was cool five years ago. He’s knowledgable but his Boston angle on everything is terrible. After his ESPN gig, his ego has gotten worse. Before he was just “Boston sports guy” now he’s “professional analyst with a bias towards Boston” guy.

He also predicts AD to Boston every year.

I've always been a big Simmons fan. His homerism seems to have steadily increased, to an unbearable level now. Especially with the Celtics. Can't wait for the Cavs to beat them in the playoffs, he's been providing so much material all year to be trolled with.

His Kyrie takes have been so ridiculous.

He was trying to push a "Kyrie is a top 7-8 player in the NBA" narrative on his podcast a few months back. That's when I unsubscribed.

Dude- I’ve watched most of the Celtics games this year. Did you watch them get DESTROYED by the Raptors a few days ago? Did you watch them in the first half vs the Pacers Friday? Did you watch them today? I watched all 3 of those games- this is NOT reactionary- they are, at best 3rd best in the East- they had to go to OT to beat the Wizards without John Wall this week. So shut up and don’t tell me who’s “reactionary”.

I remember that span if podcasts, he was playing up his homerism so badly.

Jazz are a playoff team. Pelicans have to be shitting themselves sitting at the 8 spot without Boogie.

Clarkson will THRIVE with Lebron.

Can you imagine a guy like this being held down by fricking Lonzo Ball?

Dear lord.

He finally has space for his talent to be used.
