Every single team in the playoffs has taken a beatdown like this at some point in their series'. It's not a big deal.
The contact isn't like the NFL obviously but the NBA is grueling esp. with multiple 7 game series. That and some nights, the balls just don't fall no matter how great you are.
You can't go 100% sprint through to the finals.

Yup, exactly right dude. That’s why the NBA playoffs are my favorite postseason in sports. Their formula perfectly balances the need for variance to keep the outcomes uncertain and the individual games fresh with the need to crown the best team the champion at the end of the season. Part of that is basketball itself—when each team gets dozens of possessions per game, you have time to power through a cold streak or survive an opponent’s hot streak and still win, if you’re the better team. And the best-of-7 formula reinforces that in the playoffs.
Last night SUCKED for us Thunder boys… but it’s a good example of why this game is so great.
Now let’s never do that again

These NBA playoff series are too long. I get it in baseball with the different pitchers every game, but basketball rolls out the same 5 guys every game. The game is very physical. If its a money grab, why not go 9 or 11 games and make even more?
3 games or, at most, 5 games is plenty to determine a winner.

Pacers can pull the pin on that offensive grenade at any moment.
