so, it would at least be consistent, but it would also be silly to criticize KD like it was silly to criticize lebron.
I'm not knocking him at all. GS is in a dream position with how they are setup right now. If their players weren't clicking and going off then this would be a non-story. No one knew what Curry, Klay, and Donkey could be. That's what's different about LBJ's situation, we all knew Bosh and Wade were superstars even coming into the league.

What is going on now is the perfect example I would give my young son if he asked daddy what does it mean when someone says they're letting the inmates run the asylum?
I foresee games being blacked out on tv..half empty arenas...in this economy, who wants to pay premium money in person to watch thei team get steamrolled by some ghey arse super team

In what world do you live in that Mike Brown puts a team over the top as a title winner

Are we having a real conversation, or a magical unicorn/fairy conversation?

Apparently in a different world in which you would understand sarcasm.

It will be the biggest news of the summer, of the NBA next season. He will get heat and if GS doesn't win it all, my goodness......

Golden States run last year and the Heats run a couple years ago made home ticket sales go UP in away games. Everyone wants to see the super team in person. Everyone wants to say they watched THAT team in person. And everyone wants the chance to see their team upset the super team
GS was blowing people out left and right last year and it was the hottest ticket everywhere they went.

Apparently KD will make a decision tonight and post it on the player's tribune

What about the other 36-37 home games they aren't playing the Cavs or Warriors
I don't think the league will have ever seen such a talent monopoly in its history. It lacks for drama and makes for a bad overall product. Period.

I'm just going by the best team in the league scenario with an owner that's willing to shell out a $100 million in luxury taxes

Lol Mahinmi got 4 year, $64 mill FULLY GUARANTEED from the Wizards. Is this what it's come to?

We'll have to wait and see how everything shakes out, but I highly doubt I'd feel good about Cle taking 2 games.

They were spread out over more teams. And the quality was better because there were less teams, so wasn't as thinned out. Plus kids stayed in college longer and came into the league more polished.
If you're talking about guys like Barkley with Rockets or Pippen with Blazers, they were old geezers by then, not in their prime collaborating like these SHORT CUT TO A RING players
Most draft picks now are an underachieving one and done that you spend 4 years developing for another team to sign him to a max contract after that 4th year.
