I think the only reason they're considering moving Millsap is that he most likely will opt out after next year.

Ok so if Horford comes back, does that mean Millsap will be moved?

Yep

If so, I'd like them to get another wing to compliment Bazemore

Probably going to have to throw one of Taurean Prince or Deandre Bembry into the fire. I'm assuming that's why they drafted established college players.

I like keeping Millsap in the short term. Hope we can keep him after next year.

Why is horford so coveted? Not trolling just the mans over 30 and he just averaged 15 and 7? He's not a franchise player or anything. Why such hype?

Looks like we didn't offer full max. He's gambling on that fifth year now.

I don't believe that was maxed out though. They just offered the fifth year.

He only averaged like 30 minutes per game.

Over 36 min he is about an 18 and 9 player and averages nearly 4 assists. Even shot about 34% from 3 as a PF/C. Plays good defense.

He's just a really solid player all around with a good attitude.

You're right in that he is not a franchise player... but he's very much worthy of being part of a "core" of 3 players like most championship-caliber teams have.

Exactly. You need smart, mature "glue guys" to win, regardless of stats
