I wouldn’t put it past this upcoming iteration of CC to take down GSW. They are an all timer in their own right.

No. Clint is gonna improve and james and Chris likely to miss less games. 42-3 in reg season with those guys in the lineup. 8-2 in playoffs prior to GSW. 3-2 v GOAT w those guys.
All timer indeed.

Why would you assume this?

Greg Monroe is signing a one-year, $2.2M deal with Toronto, league sources said. The veteran center is joining a contender in the Eastern Conference.

Houston currently has no one who can guard Kevin Durant.
CP3 is one year older.
Harden has history dating back to his OKC days of shrinking in the big lights (when KD led that team to The Finals).
Adding Melo doesn't help them.
Houston needs more from Gordon and Clint to take the load off of Harden.
Also, their offense is easy for a great team like GSW to defend.

What’s your outlook for the pels next season? Will they take a step forward/backwards? Stay about the same?
What do you think?

In CC switch everything D we saw Kevin in the post v Chris Paul. Kevin v whoever they want. The way to defense GSW is to beg them to iso you. No matter who is guarding Kevin it is better than giving up a open look for Kevin. Trevor ain’t even guard Kevin much one on one. That’s not how coach bzdelik has set up his D.

there will be less teams tanking next year by a lot. So they can be better and have the same amount of wins. Or less wins. That’s what I would expect. First Rd playoff exit. probably To a Utah or GSW or CC kinda team.

I can't disagree with that

Broussard on kd
"He's a conflicted guy. There's a part of him that's religious. He has ministers come visit him and hang out with him during the season. Then there's a big part of him that's doing things that don't match up with his faith. "He was engaged a few years ago. His fiancee broke up with him, she said he stopped living like a Christian. And I've talked to him about that. He's conficted in that regard with who he is in terms of that. "And then on the court ... the guy we saw in Oklahoma City was not cursing all the time, was not being as aggressive in terms of arguing and maybe fighting with guys or getting technicals...
"Durant texted me and said 'the guy you see now is the real me. The guy in Oklahoma City was the phony -- I was just trying to please everybody and do what I thought everybody wanted me to do.'
"I'm gonna take him at his word."

"sauces"
Durant is just fake, plain and simple. Don't care if this is the "real him" because at this point you can't even be sure. I mean if it was so real, why worry and make a burner account??

That’s the real Kevin. He likes to argue on Twitter. That’s him. Thats KD.
