Nate Silver @NateSilver538 Here's an initial forecast for the Lakers using CARMELO projections and assuming they make *no* further roster moves, other than retaining Randle. 52 wins. Obviously this represents something of a floor since they have the cap space/assets to pull off another big move or two.

I do not understand why Bobby Marks is acting like it’s so impossible for LA to trade for Kawhi. If it comes down to it, they can stretch Deng and it’s easily done using assets.

Was literally about to make that post

We can get to 18 million in cap space very easily if we wanted to

That's not taking into consideration the leap Ingram and kuzma will make.
But 52 wins is serious business.

You never gave me a single post showing I rooted for Lebron.
Just one, still waiting.
Knighting for the guy from sun up to sun down. Attacking posters when they have anything negative to say about him. (Me 24/7. You attacking StraightCashHomey21 about his fandom and negative take on Lebron this past Finals). This is basically 90% of your posts on this board. If that isn’t rooting for Lebron than I don’t know what is. You can say you’re a CP3 fan and Pels fan and that’s it, but you spend the majority of your time talking about Lebron and rooting for him.

Ask them to help you find a post since you can't do it yourself.
Other posters call you out all the time and lump you in with the other Lebron fanboys, but in your eyes I’m the only one that thinks this. Why do you always get lumped in with c on z and lsupride?

Hopefully you can find a cure for your narcissism

I'd wait until the trade deadline if possible. Lakers players get their value pumped up in addition to Spurs getting desperate, may be able to get him for a fraction of what they're asking for right now.
Though it's hard to believe that Kawhi's camp and the Spurs can patch things up enough to where he reports to training camp.

Lonzo with .4 +/- on offense and 2.1+/- on defense?
I was told he’s trash by a true and loyal Laker fan earlier today.
I’m just kidding reauxl.

The Lakers didn't make them the overwhelming offer they were hoping for on Thursday or Friday. It's not happening now and I doubt the spurs trade him to the Lakers and let that super team happen without that. I really dont see it happening, even at the deadline

Right. I mean, there’s so many options right now. Randle could be in a S+T to the Spurs or he could become a major asset if he signs a long term deal for below market value (less than $12M annually). Stretching Deng or dumping him with picks is extremely feasible imo.
Just a silly take to think the Lakers are locked into this roster for this season, especially with the Kawhi situation and LA’s leverage now that Lebron is locked in

OMG Lee Jenkins dropped a story on the behind the scenes of LeBron to LA.

Cranjis is melting about the potential defense. Which I dont blame him given how the team is at this very second. But I feel like we should wait to see how this roster ends up to melt or not about anything
