This may sound dumb but I really wouldn’t mind if the Lakers signed Noel on a cheap 1 year prove it deal.
Can we get him back?

Can the Dubs win without Javale?

There no way that was a reason. Fans being at an airport at 2am is low down the list of reasons to spur your hometown. Who knows why PG stayed, but I’d almost assure you a loyal fan base isn’t among the top reason.

You say that as if it's a good thing.
Seems if you don't want to play with Lebron you don't want to win a championship. Most everyone that's played with him in the past 8 years has a ring.
People like PG13 and Hard2win pay lip service to winning but their actions don't support it. They care about other things.

I assume the Lakers backed off going after PG13 due to LeBron. The two do play the same position after all. Signing PG13 will just take up unnecessary cap space and limit their flexibility.
I imagine this is wildly inaccurate. Positions in the NBA matter so little these days. It’s all about defensive switching. PG would be very good next to LBJ.

You just played both sides of the coin like nobody here exists.
1. No good player will ever choose to play with Russ.
2. Lebron is too damaging to locker rooms for players to join him.
You are possibly THE saddest individual on this site outside of Rex's alter.

Now I'm even more puzzled by PG13's decision.
i'm not... he's actually enjoyed his time in OKC, is impressed with Presti, has a good court mate in Westbrook, and doesn't have as high of expectations bestowed upon him staying there...
and he can still go there after this contract, don't forget that part...
that being said, i think he tends to be overrated, as a player, and don't really see how Lebron and him would actually fit... Leonard, who fits more naturally at SG than George anyway, is a better rebounder, defender, is less turnover prone, and shoots a higher FG %
