The salary cap ($109.1 million) and luxury tax ($132.7 million) will remain the same next season. In future seasons, the cap and tax will increase by a minimum of 3 percent — and a maximum of 10 percent, sources said.

Trades can start the 16th, the draft the 18th, FA the 20th, training camps on the 1st.

Just want to say don’t give a flying frick about the nba and that posting in a thread on an LSU Message board does not equate to caring about the NBA. Carry on.

Anyway, I hope some crazy arse trades go down but I’m not too optimistic. I think these GMs will be a little more reserved given the current situation

Trades will be the primary way to improve rosters this offseason.

Rookies will be mostly worthless for a large part of the year: most guys haven’t played since February, No summer league, no offseason training and conditioning, shortened schedule, compact offseason.

This years FA class stinks and there is a static cap so teams can’t really add a lot of Free Agents.

I'm interested to see how much moving back outside the bubble affects the level of play.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns are engaged in talks on a Chris Paul trade. @WindhorstESPN and @TimBontemps reporting on ESPN

trade talk heating up. Rumours of russ to NYK and LAC too. It would be nice to see pat included in that deal with LAC pat is a guy who should be wearing rockets red imo. He just fits.
