So Bosh to the rockets and Wade will take less money
Now does Melo go to the heat?
I think the whole ploy was to get Bosh to leave. The heat need a defensive/rebounding/rim protecting presence that isn't almost 40 (sorry birdman). I think adding melo and Gasol may have been the plan all along... if not melo... then deng!
Chalmers
Wade
Deng
LBJ
Gasol
Bench : birdman, allen, marvin williams, beasley, and a defensive point guard (napier), cole and haslem

Yes, they still have his Bird Rights.

It would be dumb for Bosh not to take that. I think Harden-Bosh-Howard is a better Big 3 than LBJ-Wade-Bosh at this point.
Plus, it's home and Texas has no income tax. It should be a slam dunk decision.

Unfortunately I agree.
Also, that team is better than the Heat even if they re-signed the "big three".

Favorites for the title IMO

That's a deeper team, but I don't know if that wins a championship. Chalmers blows and the bench doesn't give you a whole lot. LBJ is at a point where his minutes need to go down during the regular season.

He only takes that deal with Houston if Lebron leaves and the heat offer him a lower contract. Heat could still offer him the max and more money than Houston. He doesnt want to play at a discount in Miami without LeBron.

Well, Broussard is wrong on the amount of the offer. There is a guy on a Rockets message board who knows everything there is to know about salary cap issues and whatnot.
He says the $96 million is what Melo's max would be. Bosh's is 4 years, $85.5 million.
Also, yes, the Rockets would be able to re-sign Parsons because they have his bird rights.
Starting line-up would be sick... but bench would be very poor.
Starters:
Howard
Bosh
Parsons
Harden
Beverley
Bench:
Rio Grande Valley Vipers

Any team that has LBJ on it is better. One player makes THAT much of a difference in the NBA. And in the East, no less.
But on paper, that lineup is very strong.

Is the NBA going to let Bosh play for both teams?

This sounds all too familiar.

I disagree just because of the types of players. Dwight Howard is a real big man, something the Heat don't have. That allows Bosh to play his game. I think he will be much more like Toronto Bosh in Houston. And Harden is WAY better than Wade as a shooting guard at this point. And Parsons will be wide open all day. I think the way those four players plug in perfectly outweighs the Miami Big 3. Way too much overlap between LeBron and Wade's games, and Bosh has never been able to play his game.

I don't think Miami wants him without Lebron anyway.

Bench:
Bo McCalebb
T Jones
T Daniels
Motiejunas
Garcia/Delfino type player
Would be nice to swing a Jordan Hill type half arse rim protector.

I think you're guy is wrong. Bosh has played 11 seasons, so under the cba his max contract can be 35% of the cap in its initial season. This year that number is a little over 22mil. Then he can receive 4.5% raises every season. This ends up being 4 years and a little more than 95mil for the life of the contract. (This is under the assumption that the cap is 63.2 mil, or something near that)

If that offer is real, thats gonna be tough to turn down. Bosh would get to play home in Texas too.
