My team did too.
Morrow will have never seen more open threes in his career than he will this season.
Eta: Dafuq? : drool : is gone?

So OKC is still a project right?
I mean Westbrook and Durant are only 25
Harden and Howard are 24 and 28 respectively to compare.
Those guys have been together for longer and their best chance to win a title has passed them by imo

How long have they been playing together? All 4 are in their prime.

Who did yall add besides Morrow?
Posted on 7/15/14 at 12:07 am to Boomshockalocka
He's working on this big project, when should he be judged on the results of said project? Not saying he's a bad GM. Just wondering how long he'll get to work on this project before results are demanded

He's drooling over morrow bro....its a sad state of affairs in okc

The only position they get significantly worse at is backup C. Aliza is only a slight downgrade at SF, while Dwight and Harden get more experience with each other
they lose
Parsons 37 min per game
Lin 29 mins per game
Asik 20 mins per game
Garcia 20 mins per game
Casspi 19 min per game
It's gonna be a totally different team. Im sure you'll counter with "those guys suck" but that is a lot of depth that played a role last year

IMO going from Caron to Morrow is not an improvement.
Posted on 7/15/14 at 12:09 am to hendersonshands
He's got a couple years, pretty much as long as Howard is playing at an elite level.

Mitch McGary

Caron ain't what he used to be. We figured that out quickly.

Morrow wouldn't have seen the court last year if 6 pels in front of him hadn't been hurt....now he's the missing piece ???

OKC needed a sharpshooter and they got it.

Not going to counter with those guys suck, all were quality pieces.
But Canaan and Johnson are definitely no worse than Lin, who becomes a liability if he's not on a hot streak.
Parsons- good player but Ariza can put up similar numbers. Parsons is slightly better (why I said slight downgrade)
Asik- yes that hurts, like I said
Caspi and Garcia- quality shooters. Not that hard to find
What's your point?

They just went to the WCF and if it wasn't for an injury to 1/3 of the puzzle piece, they may have went up against Miami in the Finals.
I hate on any team that the Pels have to face, but shite to consider "their best chance to win" is past them is ludicrous.
They still have their core 3 contributors that put in a total 34 WS between them, a back up PG that showed he can be called on to produce and is still young, a quality big that showed he can play good defense and will only get better, picked up a quality 3pt shooter that actually plays decent defense, and more chemistry with the bench. since you know, the spurs showed the bench play a huge role in winning if you let them develop and play to their strengths.
Hell, their superstar just won MVP and improved his game that much more this past year. If LeBron at his age can improve and take it to the next level, so can Durant
