Spurs + gasol would have been straight up unfair. Come on man they walked through the playoffs (aside from Dallas) as it was.

It's the NBA most people thought the Heat were going to 3peat.

Yeah ok
Everyone, even rocket fans, think you are a ridiculous homer who is doing nothing but talking out his arse.

I disagree and you can't even come close to proving that's true.

You disagree, but the vast majority of the sports world thinks differently than you.

Spurs return this season with every major contributor from this year, their Finals MVP just took a major stride in development, and they could have added a legit starting C to that deep of a team that won this past year against the East's best.

or

OKC finally gets a real center that can score and defend adding to their already potent scoring duo and a PF that seems like he gets better every year.

Both reached the WCF, both could have added a borderline allstar player and you say they wouldn't be favorites.

Who is gonna stop them? The Rockets?

Not as far fetched as you think. The only position they get significantly worse at is backup C. Aliza is only a slight downgrade at SF, while Dwight and Harden get more experience with each other

I hope pcttiger24 is keeping his lips soft...if you aren't just being a Big Moetarded....he gets to blow boom

I don't know. Let's say you're working on a project at work and that project isn't complete yet, have you failed on the project because it isn't complete yet? Or do you wait and let things play out before deeming them success or failure?

I know we've been saying this for like 5 years now, but at some point, the Spurs, yes the Spurs will finally be too old.

I'm praying it's sooner than later. Although I still love OKC vs SA if everyone is healthy.

So OKC is still a project right?

I mean Westbrook and Durant are only 25

Harden and Howard are 24 and 28 respectively to compare.

You're not even close to proving your point.

you say they wouldn't be favorites.

once again someone pops into a thread and makes a scene without reading the post. He said they'd be heavy favorites, that's not the same as being favored.
