New Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons tells Yahoo he was "offended" by how the Rockets treated him in free agency.

In Morey we trust.

Parsons is 'offended' because Morey didn't consider him an elite player, I don't think there are many people that do consider Parsons elite outside of Dallas and Parsons. He's somewhere around the 10th best SF in the league. If I was Parsons I'd probably feel disrespected too. GL to Parsons, he did what was best for his career. Houston will be better in the long run, I don't think anybody will be saying 'if they only matched Parsons they could've won a championship' 5 years from now.

considering how he raped your GM/organization you should be the last person to be trying to be a smartass
If you remember Harden said this about OKC when he left
I felt like I already made a sacrifice coming off the bench and doing whatever it takes to help the team, and they weren’t willing to help me," Harden said. Sounds to me like he was a bit offended but said it a little differently.

Shouldn't be too upset, he's only making $15mil more next year because they didn't match

So what you're saying is, if you know you're not elite, signing with the Rockets only means you are a moveable asset to get 'superstars'. not a component, not a team player, but just a math equation.
That doesn't sound or look good any way you spin it.

Parsons is mad because Morey didn't consider him an elite player, I don't think there are many people that do consider Parsons elite outside of Dallas and Parsons

Lets not go and say they got trade raped because OKC was going to lose him with having to give Ibaka/Westbrook/Durant those contracts. At least they got something for a player they were never going to be able to keep.

I was offended he got outplayed by Nic Batum and then gave Damian Lillard all the space he wanted.

wait, what? Most NBA players know that they can be moved at anytime. It's a business. Not just Rockets players feel this way.
See rondo's comments:
"I don't think nothing of it," Rondo told the Boston Globe, however, and he sounds like a guy who means it:
No. That’s fine. I don’t have too many feelings involved in this business. I’ve played my heart out for the game, but business is business. I can be here today, gone tomorrow. You never know. For me to get bent out of shape, or to feel threatened by the Celtics drafting a point guard, it means nothing.
Players get moved it's part of the game you act like Morey is the only coach who is making moving players to make his team better.

liked by whom? I'm sure Parsons is bitter towards him, sure. Would Parsons like him if he had matched? Yes he would've.
