I love me some Mike Miller but if he can get four years at that number then I think someone is going to overpay him. Wish he could be a member of the Grizz next year but...

I feel the same way honestly. I want Mike back, but I wouldn't be too thrilled about it at that price. I hope his desire to stay in Memphis can help make up a bit of the money difference.

Apparently his family is staying in town regardless of where he ends up.

4 year deal for Miller? I wouldn't like that.

Wonder if OKC can throw more money at him with a shorter contract and lure him away.

The rumor being thrown around is it would be a sign-and-trade to OKC with...wait for it...Kendrick Perkins heading to LA. Perkins does have value because his contract is coming off the books and therefore will free up even more cap space for the Lakers next offseason

My goodness...that lineup would be redic!

Why would Gasol though go to OKC with Collison, Adams, and Ibaka on the roster?

It is all about the years with him it seems like tbh. I think he is still getting paid by Miami next season, so money doesn't seem like too big of an issue.

Gasol would immediately supplant Collison in the rotation and split time with Adams behind Ibaka.

Not a bad gig, really.

Perkins too

Probably would be their 4th big off the bench, right?

Remember who you are talking to.

I'll try to help!

If Gasol went to OKC he would effectively being playing center.

Ibaka and Collison are PF's

Adams would back up Gasol.

So whats the issue?

Because he would give OKC something they are severly lacking...a post presence.

This

And a still very raw Adams learning from Gasol, Collison and Ibaka is very solid

This X100

Do you think Sam Presti is saying to himself..."Hell, we don't need Pau Gasol. We have Steven Adams!!"

Exactly.

If the deal is in fact for three years then that works out pretty well.

At that point you'll know if Adams is your franchise center or not. If he is then Gasol moves on and Adams takes over the reigns.

Worried that Lebron will leave Miami

I think as the days go on, the speculation that he leaves will only increase.

Rumor Im hearing, and maybe it was eluded to earlier is that Lebron was pissed at the Riley presser after the Finals. Didnt like how Riley called him out and basically told him not to do to Miami what he basically did you Cleveland. Lebron purposely is requesting the max, knowing that Riley wont pay him that or at the very least hamstrings the Heat regarding signing a FA, since they wont know how much cap space they will have. IF those rumors are true, then there is no way Lebron goes back to Miami.

Just a rumor tho

Grizzlies ...Miller ....has offers from other teams, according to the source, that are worth between $3.5 and $4.5 million annually over four years.

How can the corpse formally known as Mike Miller command 4yrs/16mil? And how does Lance only receive 4 yrs @ 8.8 Mil per yr?

A very convoluted situation in Miami, to say the least.

Well that corpse did just play 91 games last season

Teams overpay for shooting.

No way he goes for that low on the open market. He will likely end up making 11-12 million on the open market.

He'd become the starting center, no question. He played a lot of center during his time in LA and played it well.

If not Miami, where does he go? I really don't think he goes back to play for Gilbert in Cleveland.
