They probably prefer Bosh. Better fit. Already use to playing alongside LeBron.

Yeah, I've never got the Melo Bosh swap talk in Miami. Considering what Bosh is credited for providing, a key to the defense and a versatile role player on offense, I don't see how Melo fills his shoes at all.

@GreggDoyelCBS What I think: LeBron has picked Miami. Not announcing yet to give Cleveland time to prepare itself. Just what I think.

Doesn't Doyel cover college basketball or football? Basically his guess is as good as any of ours

Yeah I get it as replacement for Bosh if he wants more money or if they want to add him along with Bosh, but Bosh should still be option #1 next to LeBron if I am Miami.

just no. in todays hybrid NBA you ALWAYS go for the better player.

melo > bosh.

it'd be like someone arguing that the Heat should take Bosh over Durant because hes a "better fit" (just lol)

whatever team Melo goes to can assure themselves of a first round playoff exit...that's why nobody cares where he goes

I know everyone will say we're retarded and don't get the basketball "fit".

But I totally agree with you.

The difference between Melo and Bosh is not close to the difference between Durant and Bosh as far as the better player.

I think Gilbert has stated he would immediately send out some sort of communication to Cavs fan if LeBron informed them that he's staying in Miami. I hope it's in comic sans again. Or maybe he goes arial this time.
