Can't wait for Dan Gilbert comic sans press release

And Melo is a tPOS.
Money hungry fella who clearly isn't interested in winning.
I guess I give him credit for just saying screw my legacy, might as well make bank on a shitty team in a cool city

Changing subjects, Bosh to Houston doesn't scare me at all.
OKC has successfully thrown Perkins/Adams to somewhat nullify Howard this last year, and Ibaka has been a solid option vs Bosh in years past.
This would catapult Houston into the 2nd or 3rd best team in the West though.
Asik/Davis/Anderson is a pretty good answer to Howard/Bosh/scraps, as well.

I mean I can't blame him for taking that deal...but don't come out and say it's about winning

I can say this now, unequivocally: LeBron James moves his cars every summer.

You forgetting who the knicks just hired?

Where every 1st round series minus the Portland/Houston one went 7 games
Aldridge was playing out of his mind, Harden was playing terrible, and Lillard hit a miracle shot to end the series in 6 games.
If Lillard didn't hit that shot, it would have gone to 7.
There was a very fine line and the series was extremely competitive. Maybe the most competitive series in the entire playoffs, even though it was 6 games.
4-2 is deceiving.

Derek Fisher?

New York will likely be a player considering his relationship with Phil and his success in the Triangle offense.
I don't buy that angle. Pau wants to win, and win now. Is he really the piece that somehow makes the Knicks a title-contender? Don't think so.
In OKC, he comfortably be the 4th guy, and still have a huge impact. All while playing alongside 3 of the league's best in KD, Russ, and Ibaka.

I may be wrong, but San Antonio I believe has the least to offer him financially of those seeking his services. That is assuming they're planning on keeping Leonard in town.

Oh I figured he'd get less there, but I'm thinking championships.

And somebody correct me if I'm wrong... but would they be able to use any exceptions to sign some veterans?
They would have the Room MLE to work with. That's it.
I didn't realize how many guys Houston had making peanuts. They may be able to keep Beverley, Jones, Motiejunas, and Casspi.
I'm still not sure how they would be able to resign Parsons if they renounce his rights to make room.

The feeling is Pau isn't going to go play for the cheap. He still wants to make close to 10 mil or so. He's not in a position where has to give up millions to win a championship because he already has 2.
