One could also argue that the Heat were only in the Finals because of how terrible the East was

The Spurs beat them worse than they beat any team in the west.

You could say that. It doesn't change my opinion that they would've beat the clippers or thunder

I think the Heat would have lost to a full-strength Thunder team.

Clippers, I agree with you.

I really think Houston would have given the Heat fits to be honest

Spurs had a greater point differential against Miami than against Portland.

Miami has explored the possibility of adding talent via a Mario Chalmers sign-and-trade, per sources. Pat Riley still trying to make moves.

Trading Chalmers should get the Heat a ton of talent in return

Yea I thought it to be bizarre, as well. No one wants Chalmers right now. Not for anything that Miami would want.

In major news, Wiggins apparently signed with Adidas. No way LeBron is okay with that. Deal breaker, IMO.

Andrew Wiggins' new Adidas shoe contract is the most for a rookie with the shoe company, a source said.

Here is the analysis I received on Cavs rookie Andrew Wiggins out of Vegas so far: "That kid, wow. Just wow. Wow, wow, wow."

Derrick Rose can't walk ten feet in a pair of Adidas without shattering. Wiggins is fricked.

Damn, too bad Utah will probably match it. Would love to see Hayward in Charlotte.

Isn't RGIII an Adidas athlete, too?

just saw that

so we pretty much just tied ourselves up in this mess for the next few days until Utah matches and meanwhile can't make any more moves until that happens, right?

bye bye Lance

I think LBJ ends up signing 1-2 year deal in Miami with year 2 being a player option, then goes from there re: Cleveland. They're not there yet. Wiggins is far from a sure thing and will need at least a year or two to develop anyway.

Logically, Miami is a better chance to win championships, even with just the same roster from last year + McRob and granger.
