Danny Green is a good get as long as he doesn't go back to being ice cold like he was for the 3 years following his previous finals trip.
Quinn Cook and KCP signings are meh at best. Replacement level players.

If Toronto turned down a team of Russ/PG/Kawhi then Masai is not as smart as we thought.

we need good shooting who isnt also arguably the worst in the NBA at everything else. danny green was a great signing. as was mcgee.

Who was the poster that said "Why would Kawhi wants to sign with the Lakers when they were willing to give up a huge package for AD but not for him?" He was spot on. If the Lakers had traded for Kawhi last season, he almost certainly would have re-signed with the Lakers. That was a massive screw-up by them.

But I thought we wouldn't have anyone to spend the money on. Danny green and cook are nice gets
Danny Green is a solid signing. Quinn Cook has a career -0.5 VORP. Plus as a Pels fan, I too once tried to convince myself that Quinn Cook was "solid."
I failed lol

Defensively he suck but we need shooters so he helps with that.

Quinn Cook couldn’t make the Hawks roster.

he may be the worst in the NBA at every single significant basketball playing skill outside of perimeter shooting. really ho way to spin this one

Kyle Kuzma, who is apparently a part of the Big 3, has a career -.3 Offensive Box Plus/Minus & - 1.2 Defensive Box Plus/Minus -- the estimated points per 100 possession a player contributed above a league average player. His BPM is -1.5 for his career. VORP is .6.
He's a scorer who is an average to below average shooter and a black hole on defense.

Reading the tea leaves in reverse, I don't believe the Lakers ever had a real shot. Their enthusiasm/hope got the best of them and provided an amazing smokescreen for KL.
At worst, KL would've signed a 2 year extension with the Raps, waiting for Lebron to retire. He was never coming in under Lebron's wing, period.

Also gotta say, I bet this put a small smile on Pop's face. Even tho it still has to sting, this move is a mix of the Spurs ideology combined with the modern ideology of players taking more control of their career path.
As Sinatra once said, "I did it my way."

kawhi left the spurs Bc they could not get him another star.
when Chris Paul chose to play with harden over the spurs that was the nail in the coffin for kawhi in San Antonio.

LeBron doesn't even have the best team in LA. I love it.

That Clippers squad is going to be nasty on defense. They can damn near switch everything with pat Kawhi and pg13.

This comment literally has zero to do with my post or the topic at hand.
It is 100% relevant to the arse pain that the Spurs historical success has caused you. It saddens me to see how much you've been reduced.
Maybe you and Mr. Perfect can start a support group for most disgraced/humiliated MSB posers of all time.

So a support group of one?
"Mr. Perfect" wouldn't bet me because "he" knew it was lose lose for him lol

I said that the super team era was about to end and other stars didn’t want to play with lebron long before anyone else did here. If I was an I told you so kinda guy I’d bump some of those threads. Last night is just another feather in my cap.
I am like tonto I got so many feathers in my cap.
