David Griffin was on the radio today and said that they are more interested in the "caliber of human over a skillset".
Kind of confirms what we all knew. They won't necessarily be in play for any relatively major FAs and are instead looking for "culture" guys.
That's why Horford seemed like a good fit but don't think that happens.

Do you not understand that Woj is an insider, not an analyst, and what Pincus tweeted is the elaborate things the Lakers need to do to get to that point, while Woj simply reports on what "is"...right?

Woj, 100%, gives positive news coverage to teams who give him news and, 100%, gives negative coverage to teams who don't
He is absolutely the gold standard when it comes to reporting stuff like transactions and on figuring out what players are thinking when it comes to free agency and trades and the like. I view everything else he does as next to worthless

it's the petty way media attempt to make you open up to them. the idea being, if you release enough negatively into the public, certainly the team will want to clear thier name.
