Ummm.. it did change trajectory you dumbass homer.
God this is hilarious.

Heck, might as well give Morrison some playing time. He might actually hustle and act like he gives a damn about winning.

After the calls LA was getting in that entire game, I figure a couple in the Celtics favor isn't the reason the Lakers lost.
I don't like either team, but I think it's extremely funny when a Laker or a Celt fan complain about other teams getting too many calls.

I am not a fan of either. Trust me, I actually hate both teams. I just hate the Lakers more, but when I saw the replay, it obviously grazed the rim, and I laughed at the announcers acting like it didn't.
Watching the Lakers fans melt down and be blind is just a bonus.
If I had to say which team has gotten the bulk of bad calls to their benefit in this series as a whole, its obviously the Lakers, but its not why they won game 1 or 4.

not from the last couple angles. but whatever. Ron Ron likely would have done something to give possession right back.

trust you? fricking blind as a bat

From the first 2 they showed it did. That was my point. Lakers fans are all listening to the announcers who missed it and only showed the last two shitty angles.
It clearly hit in the first 2 they showed.

You're the one wearing the Purple and Gold glasses that make things defy physics.

none of the replays show the ball changed direction
Posted on 6/13/10 at 10:10 pm to Tiger in Austin
The first two did. You just don't want to see it. It grazes the rim clearly.
Posted on 6/13/10 at 10:10 pm to LSUMafia
clearly? you are just talking out of your arse
Posted on 6/13/10 at 10:13 pm to Tiger in Austin
No, it changes direction and its pretty obvious if you look for it. Fact is that you don't want it to have hit the rim so you can claim the Lakers somehow got shafted. If it makes you feel better go for it, but reality is it hit the rim.

I feel like the Celtics got this. Bynum playing hurt, they're controlling the paint, LA's bench wilting, Kobe looking like he wanted to fight every other member of his team at the end, etc.

look at this grit. this determination. Ammo took on The Horford. and lived to tell about it. and yet Phil doesn't suit him up? I mean how long is Phil gonna hold Luke Walton crossing Ammo over against him? wasn't the torn ACL bad enuf?

That's Mario West.

The ball didn't hit the rim. The ball didn't change directory or spin. I dunno why anyone is listening to your opinion anyway. You claim to have no horse in the race, but you've been dissing Laker fans and the officiating this entire thread while the officiating was actually very solid for this game.

The ball did hit the rim. Are you blind? I've watched the first two replays over and over and each time the ball changes trajectory and then hits the backboard.

as a guy who has made his rec hoops career dominating the glass, and i do this without top athleticism (which means i know angles of the ball), that ball did not his the rim
it would have come off the glass a LOT flatter and changed directions, which it did not

Jacob, it definitely grazed the rim. If it hit it squarely, you would be right but it barely grazed it and did change trajectory. It is pretty clear if you look at the first two replays they showed. Ironically they never showed those two replays again. Just the other angles.
