Lol no. Pacific time is the GOAT for sports watching. Especially Saturday college football.
What is this hipster shite? Central has and always will be the best time zone for sports watching

Sucks for the people that didn't watch.
It was a really good game and it looks like the series will be very competitive
I watched every minute and the game sucked. 26 turnovers, 53 personal fouls, and 63 FTAs.

I'm not sure why hockey fans try to convince basketball fans which sport is better in an NBA thread.

The biggest culprit is the late start time. The Finals should not be tipping off later than 8:05 EST.
Is there some Warriors fatigue? Sure. But that’s minimal compared to the fact that it was washed out by people happy to finally see a new foe in the Finals.

The game was down 15% in the Bay Area. What's their excuse?

Expectations the Warriors would win in a walk?
Fans get complacent when it appears to be an easy series.

They were too busy shitting in the streets.
Also how were the ratings in Toronto compared to last year. Like I said, a wash.

That’s because they waited 5 days that they should not have to start the finals....

All of these people wanted Lebron out of the playoffs, and they're not watching.

Is it the Canadian teams fault or warrior fatigue?
neither. No LeBron.

I like my Saturday mornings work out with game day on at the gym. I also love really late night football when the wife is asleep and I am up late with the dog netting games

If DirecTVNow had ABC I would have been watching. Sucks

I didn't even know that there was a game last night until I checked MLB scores on ESPN.

People still watch The NBA?
Silly people.

I saw over on reddit before the series began that canada's viewers would not be counted towards the american numbers or something of that sort.

I watched it for first time in a decade

The Raptors are a substance team, not a style team and the NBA fan base is the least interested of all the sports in substance. We saw this with the Finals between the Pistons and Spurs back in 2004. Two very fundamental sound basketball teams, that played team basketball, no egos, no flashy highlight seekers. Great series in terms of quality, clinical basketball, but since it didn’t feature any attention whore players or one of the 5 biggest markets, the media shite on it and fans tuned out.

If only Toronto could hit their bevy of wide open jumpers, maybe ratings would go up. That was tough to watch.

NBA has always been about the stars. No different here.
International leagues are there if what you care about is purity and passion of the sport.
