I think the NBA will expand to Seattle and Mexico City within the next 10 years and surpass MLB and NFL in revenue by 2027

Mexico City is 15 hours away from San Antonio. There are at least four teams closer than that

Mexico City is the number 1 place in the world when it comes to kidnapping and ransom. I think that is a bad idea and I rather see The supersonics go back to Seattle then Mexico City. They will always be about soccer.

What American basketball players want to live in Mexico City? Also, don't they have enough domestic issues? Would 40 basketball games a year help the violence and rampant kidnapping issues there? Why would any NBA player want their kids anywhere near that place? They could be vulnerable to having their kids kidnapped and help for ransoms etc.

This will not happen.

Well, you could blaze the trail and become worshipped for the rest of your life by an entire country...it would take someone that has balls...excuse me...huevos.

Is this like how we "worship" the best players in the MLS? Mexico is historically and presently not big basketball fans.

Probably just some NBA executives wanting to write-off vacation expenses as "work-related"

Always smart to start a franchise that's 8,000 feet above sea level with a pending wall

I hope they pay the players in pesos, which are worth roughly 4.5 cents. A player making $5,000,000 per season would earn 107,385,250 pesos....
