The symptoms or ability to fight off the covid Doesn’t matter. Once there is a positive test those players can’t play.

What’s the point of playing more five regular season games?

so the playoffs are up to expectations.

and nearly all teams in west are going to change position if they flop.

which 5 games?
does memphis play all 5 vs the three teams with a shot at 8th?

could actually be interesting.

and in the case of memphis they just got a decent sf via trade who had had a back injury. he was practicing and supposed to play soon.
brandon clarke was out weeks and was going to play immediately.
two bench guys were out.
they are ok now.
so for memphis its get acquainted.

setting up perfectly for a lebron james title run

has any other player been working out with other teammates like he has this entire time?

No it is not. His hgh cycle is not timed for this. In fact he alluded to it himself. Saying he was getting his body ready for a run and then it got shut down on him. He is one of the most negatively affected players by this. Kawhi is high on that list too.

he hasnt shut it down tho, that is the thing.

well The games aren’t starting for 6 weeks. That gives those who weren’t working out plenty of time to get into shape. Not that there were many on contenders not working out in the 1st place.

Nah, LeBron spent the break morphing into Kimbo Slice. He's be ready to kick arse literally and figuratively.

Kidding aside, I just hope we get a playoffs.

Yea everyone else will be fresh too. And there is no evidence to suggest lebron will be the best player after the layoff. He has not been the best player in the league in years.

Fresh helps you more in your mid-30's.

It was him and Giannis neck and neck for MVP pre-quarantine. There's an element of uncertainty for everyone, but it's not like he wasn't pushing for that number 1 spot this year and clearly #1 in the 2018 playoffs.

Lebron benefited more from this long layoff than any other player in the association, boom. Stop being silly

Wrong. He said himself he was rounding third base and his body told him Wtf Is going on when the season stopped. There are quite a few players who were carrying heavier minutes loads than him.

They want to get to 70 to appease the regional sports networks.

“What they would love to do is to get to 70 games,” Windhorst said. “And the reason 70 is a key number is because that is what the deliverable is to the regional sports networks. They are promised 70 games.

“Now, just because a team like the Lakers, for example, to get to 70 games … they wouldn’t necessarily be able to deliver on that because they’ve had a lot of national games, but getting to 70 would be helpful in retaining revenue because they wouldn’t have to refund some to the local TV.”

He probably could have used a different team since the lakers own their own network so their issues with this are entirely different from the rest of the NBA but that's something I havent thought about. Teams who have gotten on naruoanl TV more than others will have to come to some agreements with their tv carriers
