I have never understood why Kansas (either KC or St. Lou) doesn't have a NBA team. It's in basketball crazy Kansas for God's sakes! Plus KC does not have NHL so the BBall team would be the "only game in town" for 6 months of the year.

Sacramento Kings:

The Fickle Kings started out as the Rochester Kings in 1945, moved to Cincinnati for the 1957-1958 season, bolted for Kansas City-Omaha in 1972, dropped Omaha in 1975 and then left Kansas City for Sacramento in 1985

I know they are just trying to squeeze the Seattle ownership group
Can’t squeeze if the other side knows it’s bullshite

NBA players are the biggest divas in sports. They required the league to change “Owners” to “Governors”. There is a 0% chance they’re tolerating a lack of expansion draft or trade veto rights there. The league wouldn’t even bother going down that path because they know player buy-in would be non existent

The bigger question to me is if Silver just panicked and made it up on the spot or they just thought the Seattle group was that retarded. Either doesn’t say good things
