There are no other real contenders other than Seattle and Las Vegas, though.
Those will win but don’t discount that Kansas City will try. The current Kings played in KC until 85. They want a team back. I’d love for them to get a team over Seattle from purely travel reasons. And could redo divisions without forcing extra travel for most. Much easier to get to in middle of country.
But Seattle was last to lose team plus LV is the newest flavor in sports.

No its not. Vegas is getting rid of all the old shite casinos and focusing on wealthy clients
The days of free beer are over
Precisely why I am spending $25,000 on a projector setup.
Would cost $6,000+ to go to one of the world cup games.
Only to see just one game. Where as I have a multi viewer setup with my projector.
I could spend the cost of season tickets+ hotel and parking and be set for 10 years.
It's ridiculous the prices to go to things these days.

The talent level in the league is already too watered down. This is another money move that’ll make the on court play worse.

I petition the Tampa Bay Tropics.

Seattle deserves a team because they were massively successful but were stolen away from them by some lying shiesters from a podunk shithole. One of those lying shiesters committed suicide to avoid paying for his crimes. It’s a disgrace Seattle didn’t get the Sonics back quickly, similar to Charlotte in the NBA or Cleveland in the NFL.

Missouri is a state that likes basketball
A team in eithrr st louis or KC woild prob do well
They can move the pelis to st louis and rename them the arches

There is plenty of talent. Basketball is the worlds' second most popular sport after soccer. There are 5 soccer leagues with about 20 teams who are considered among the best in the world.
Pretty much every country on the planet has organized basketball to various degrees.

It might not be the bigger city, but OKC has been a better NBA market than Seattle ever was

Wow, someone is still butthurt lol. Granted, we don’t have as many titles as the Minnesota Lakers but at least we got one. I’ve never seen such snowflakes as ex Sonics fans. What will you name them? Boeing is mostly leaving Seattle so will you go with Seattle Antifa? I love their meltdowns up there.

How would conferences work if Vega and Seattle are added? One will be in the East?
Posted on 2/10/26 at 10:37 am to danilo
Some other team would move east. Perhaps Memphis? Or Minny? NO?

So when does an NBA owner sell out to a group wanting to move that misses an expansion bid

No idea. But if Seattle gets a team the NBA better put them in same div as OKC. Instant rivalry. Profit
2028 is the year OKC will open their new stadium. Right when new teams and conf/div realignment starts
