Remember when we used to just pick our 2 favorite teams and let them play for it? How barbaric

Besides Texas, has OSU played a ranked team?

This is the best description of Indiana I’ve heard this year.

Not that I think he's without fault but just for everyone's awareness, this is Gunner's stats in "crucial spots":

4th Quarter 86%, 447 Yards, 5 TD/0 INT, 194.10 RTG
Tied or Losing: 71.7%, 1269 Yards, 10 TD/1 INT

Dude is exactly the type of clutch QB that can a win with a well-rounded team coming into form like Georgia. Doesn't make many mistakes and has been throwing dimes in clutch situations this year.

One way to save college football as whole are automatic playoff bids for every FBS conference champion… if the playoff expanding to 16 that’s still 6 at-large bids for the P4.., no one who finishes 3rd in their conference should feel entitled to a playoff spot anyway

Save it from what? As far as I know college football interest and intrigue is at all time highs across the country, no?

I don’t have any numbers to back that

OSU also had a 20 point road win over ranked Illinois and will have a 3rd ranked win after they beat Michigan next week

Then they will play an undefeated team in the Big 10 championship.

Indiana has by far the most impressive resume and should be #1, but you might be correct. They look like a complete team though. Play good D.

Why they are ranked 21. All the SEC teams count a soon to be unranked Missouri for top 25 wins so why would this not count?

Because it's not backed up by anything else. Had OSU also beaten a top 10 team, then ok with Illinois. Illinois has beaten one team with a pulse.

Ultimately, we'll find out.
